On Thursday, March 10th, Judge Robert C. Cheshire of the 377th District Court of Victoria County sentenced Christopher Gustav Traeger of Victoria to 45 years imprisonment on four counts of burglary of a habitation. Mr. Traeger was accused of burglarizing three Victoria homes with the intent of theft, and further breaking into another home with intent to assault with a deadly weapon.
Assistant Criminal District Attorney Brian Hrach prosecuted the charge. Mr. Hrach said, "Mr. Traeger has a violent past with a prior trip to the penitentiary for Aggravated Robbery." Criminal District Attorney Steve Tyler commented, "The streets of Victoria are safer with Mr. Traeger behind bars."
