The Environmental Services Program is committed to safeguarding public health. Our team monitors and tests water quality, we inspect food establishments for safety, and investigates general sanitation complaints. We educate the community on environmental health risks, and respond to emergencies such as environmental disasters. Environmental Services also controls disease vectors, maintains floodplain map accuracy for the area, and educates on stormwater management.

We serve Victoria, Calhoun, DeWitt and Jackson counties.

If you would like to file a complaint in reference to a food establishment, failing septic system, mosquitoes, and/or any other general sanitation concern, please complete the Complaint form.

For information requests please fill out the Request for Information form and return it to our office.
